3Way & Violet Underground
Check out new videos in our UNPLUGGED section (up a little and to the right). Jill Bennett and I sit down for a cocktail (um… or two) and chat about 3Way. (video courtesy of Jill’s video blog “The Violet Underground” on SheWired.)

June 2, 2009 @ 11:59 amI just wanted to say that I hope the networks begin to see the light. For the most part, network TV is devoid of shows with strong female characters (women are usually relegated to being the “girlfriend” or being in pursuit of a boyfriend, one notable exception is Medium). I enjoyed watching 3Way and We Have to Stop Now because they were just great quality shows, period. By labeling these “lesbian” shows, the networks are really missing out on quality programming. It’s akin to thinking that you have to be a doctor or in the medical profession to enjoy Scrubs or ER, which we know isn’t true. The times are a changing, and although I’m not a lesbian, it doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate and enjoy watching a quality show when I see it. I know I’m not alone in my thinking and I hope the networks will break their outdated TV programming molds so more women can enjoy these shows.

May 29, 2009 @ 11:50 pmWell, I think I just watched the bonus footage, and I have to say that I just want to thank the entire team behind 3Way again for giving us some great entertainment. I have to admit the confessionals were stellar. Not that I didn’t love the episodes, because I did, but the confessionals really fleshed out the main characters. It was a really good balance for a web series. Good on ya!
