This brand new romantic comedy follows two smokin’ hot lesbian therapists as they struggle to keep up the pretence of staying together when a documentary film crew invades their home after the success of their book “How To Succeed In Marriage Without Even Trying.”
Written by Award-Winning, Internationally Produced Playwright and Actress, Ann Noble, and directed by Award-Winning Robyn Dettman, this off-beat love story stars the sexy and dynamic talents of Cathy DeBuono and Jill Bennett. They are the ultra-sleek, intellectual Dyna (DeBuono) and the quirky, emotional Kit (Bennett), so it’s no wonder there are plenty of “fireworks” in their relationship. The ones in the bedroom are great; the ones in every other aspect of their lives…not so much. And don’t even get them started on the different types of therapy they use on their clients.
Dyna and Kit do however gain insights into their relationship—when they’re actually listening—in their sessions with their very earnest, very willing therapist, Susan, played by the charming and “freakin’ hilarious” Suzanne Westenhoefer.
But things get really, really complicated, when Kit’s stoner, potentially bi sister, Cindy (Noble), moves in after being evicted for the umpteenth time. But it’s really when the documentary film crew starts filming every single moment of Dyna and Kit’s home life, that the proverbial sh*t really starts to hit the proverbial fan.
Guest Stars: Maia Madison, Mara Marini, John McLaughlin, Catherine O’Connor, Marcus Procto, Darin Singleton and Rob Thelusma
