California Prop 8 Protest
This week tens of thousands of California citizens marched against the unjust overturning of legal same sex marriage in California. Our cast and crew and friends and families have been present at every rally.
While we celebrate the historic victory of Barack Obama, it was bittersweet for those of us effected by homophobic Americans who took away the rights of gay Americans in 4 states in this election. We will continue to march and rally and organize until our civil rights are protected.
There is a nation-wide march scheduled for next Saturday, November 15th. http://www.jointheimpact.com/
The 3Way cast will be in Chicago for the Reeling Film Festival and we will be marching on the streets of Chicago. If you are in that neck of the woods, come walk with us. We have two married couples in the 3Way family – Maile Flanagan and Lesa Hammett, and Bridget McManus and Karman Kregloe. We take protecting the rights of our family and community very seriously, we thank you for your support.
See You In Chi Town
Next weekend, November 15th, the cast of 3Way heads to the Reeling Film Festival (link to festival) for our screening and last appearance of 2008. We promise to share our stories and pictures with you after we get home and sober up.
Thanks for going on this ride with us…
Maeve and Paige (Nancylee is still recovering….)
