Don’t Mess with Donuts
Lessons From a Crime-Fighting Security Guard
A Donut Delite Truck was stolen from a Rock Island, Illinois, hospital when the company driver was making deliveries. One-hundred miles later, the chase began in Benton County when law enforcement officers spotted the truck. The stolen truck reached speeds reported at 110 miles per hour on Highway 30 as it headed west into Tama County.
The suspect tried to continue his run by going through a Hardees parking lot but a deputy then rammed the driver’s door, stopping the van. The Donut Delite company donated the doughnuts to Tama County courthouse employees, who consumed the evidence during their break.

GERI’S LESSON FOR CIVILIANS: How many times do I have to tell you? Cops don’t like it when you mess with their donuts — come on, people, if you’re gonna steal, steal a broccoli truck.

April 21, 2008 @ 9:07 pmIf homeland security is implicated, cops can confiscate anything. This makes me proud to be an American. Just found these groovy 3-way episodes because directtv is out in a big storm. This is as lucky a night as the night years ago when I saw you perform at the Bryant Lake Bowl. Smitten, I was. Still your long time fan.
