Jill Bennett was great reading that scene with Maeve! I was thinking “Nikki and Nora” while I was watching it and then I nearly choked on my Cheez-It when it cut to Ladycop!
I’m watching the episode over and I was going to point out one or two more things I loved . . . but . . . the whole episode is great along with everyone in it!
Okay, one more thing, I can’t help myself — the kiss between Geri and Siobhan was genius! The one between Siobhan and Andrea wasn’t bad either lol.

I totally loved the different ways Roxie and Geri read with Siobhan.. So when Andrea offered to help I wondered how (idiotic) she would read it. But then I was completely surprised when it turned very serious and filled with tension. And that kiss was perfect! *swoon*
And I loved that Liz Vassey was gueststarring.

March 31, 2008 @ 4:52 pmUh…ok. This episode was just ok. Too long to be a webisode and too many questionable camera angles and shots. Emphasis should stick to ensemble members. Although ladycops is a funny idea, I see that as more of a separate “confessional” type addition. The scenes were wayy wayy too long. Once again, Gerri stole the show. Hey, I think I’ll write the first 3 way fan fiction. Hmmm. Love the show.

May 7, 2008 @ 1:38 amSiobhan’s audition scene was SO on. I’ve definitely been on auditions where the reader gives you nothing, and you have to make something out of it. Siobhan did a great job with her read in spite of the poor poor reading.
Loved the scene with Andrea and Siobhan. Like watching two pro actresses act out a scene…oh wait, they are. =P

First of all their chemistry was awesome, but secondly, Jill took that overwritten obvious send up of those shows and sold it! And then later we see Liz and Christina hit it out of the park, too. Amazing. Here’s some behind the scenes scoop on this episode… Ben worked with Cathy, Jill and Maile a little bit before and encouraged them to improv and surprise Maeve. We really only did one take for each, with a couple of pick-ups of certain lines, or when people broke. But really you saw what we saw. And all three versions were amazing and funny and right on with their characters. So glad you like this episode, it’s one of our faves, too.

Especially everyone trying to help Siobhan with her lines; I was lmao at the read through with Roxie, the one with Geri was also really funny with their “air kiss” lol, and the read through with Andrea and Siobhan was amazing “I’m in the moment!” lol, that was a great line and a great scene. Plus getting Christina Cox and Liz Vassey to guest star, AND the Nikki and Nora reference was just awesome, and I love Ladycops. It’s really cool since no one ever picked up Nikki and Nora (which they should have *hint hint*) “I could use a bath.” “I could use a drink.” “I could use a drink AND a bath.” “Ooo..That sounds good.” yet another Nikki and Nora reference, this episode rocked (as they all do).

Also, as a sidenote, I have the EXACT same United Nations t-shirt that Roxie was wearing while they were all watching “Ladycop.” Weird/very cool.
