News From a Crime-Fighting Security Guard
Gresham police arrested Jack Christopher Burch III of Greshama whom they suspected of robbing a bank on Thursday, Jan. 17 after he walked out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. He was then arrested one block from the scene of the crime, after issuing a note to a teller demanding money.
Sgt. Claudio Grandjean, Gresham Police public information officer, said the robbery note contained the suspect’s signed name and address.
“We seem to be leading the way in stupid criminals lately,” Grandjean said.
